We're spreading the joy of Christmas

Every year The Beach House finds a way to help the Community. This Year, we're donating fresh trees to the Center for Human Services, Pathway homes. The Pathway Youth are young adults that were once homeless and are now rebuilding their lives and futures with the help of transitional housing and services. As the Owner of the Beach House, I had the pleasure of meeting with these young adults and want to make sure they are filled with the same Holiday cheer that I, my colleagues and customers share. Something so little can make such a difference in someones life and that's what we hope to do this year. We're asking for gently used ornaments, lights, tree toppers and anything you can think of to help dress these Christmas Trees up. Bring them to The Beach House no later than Dec 10th.

The Center for Human Services Oakdale Resource Center is short on food this Year. We are asking for your help! Bring in a minimum of 5 can foods or non-perishable food items and we'll give you a FREE TAN! That's right we're trading CANS FOR TANS! Bring in food items through Dec 20th.

Salons all over the country are now offering feather extensions. We are personally slammed packed with this latest trend. Before school began, Moms were dropping off their teens and having them feathered! Who would of thought any of us would be wearing rooster feathers in our hair, let alone feathers. Just another new trend that someday we'll look back and tell our latest generation what WE were putting in our hair.

With American Idol judge Steven Tyler wearing feather extensions on TV and pop icons like Hilary Duff wearing them everywhere demand is only getting crazier.

To achieve a healthy-looking tan, it is vital that health-conscious individuals follow a program that focuses on skincare before, during and after a tanning salon visit. Prepare their skin for tanning with shower gels/body washes and use an exfoliater at least once a week before even walking into a Salon.
